Julie & Ev takes immense pride in introducing the forefront of home decor innovation with our sound-inspired Portuguese ceramic collection. This unique process starts with capturing a remarkable voice within the serene and expansive environment of a monastery in Alcobaca, Portugal. A specialized computer program initially plots the design's foundation, then harnesses the voice's sound waves to shape the emerging structure.

Following the design phase, a digital blueprint is transformed into a physical mold through 3D printing, used for crafting slip-molded ceramic vases. In homage to the monastery's Cistercian principles, which eschewed colored and patterned stained glass, our collection exclusively features vases in a pristine white finish.

This choice reflects the monastery's dedication to simplicity and purity, where only colorless stained glass was permitted to fill the space with light that was as clean, pure, and white as possible, fostering an atmosphere of peace and serenity.
